Insight: Phantom limb pain can cause amputees to experience real pain in a part of their body that is no longer there. While rehabilitation often focuses on adapting to physical limb loss, the brain may still need help adjusting.
Idea: Create an augmented reality experience that helps amputees to see their limb again and trick their brain of the sensation.

Installed in hospitals and rehabilitation centres, Phantuerian's interactive mirrors visually recreate patients' missing limbs, introducing them to the technology and how they can continue the experience at home.
Influencer program: A TikTok creator series that invites amputee creators to share their experiences with phantom limb sensations through short form storytelling. Creators document the sensations they still experience, from an itch in a missing hand to pain in toes that are no longer there, giving audiences a glimpse into something they can’t physically see.
